Another thing I dislike about tides! Take for ever to come in so you can launch, but get stuck? Why I got a slip in the marina!

This is gonna get interesting here! I talked the girls in the office today, and as we have video cams every where. What thinking now is was a outside resident and WE ARE PRIVATE. Home owners ONLY. Either someone here gave him a gate key, or usual leave the gate open during launch time day time. Or simple saw the launch and said "go for it" BUT? It WILL get worse the idiot as the DRN knows now, and ? Damn, you DO NOT destroy the (by driving on it) the flats low tide! Clamheads here (or tree huggers) bitch abot crushing clams. geoducks, oyster beds. DNR will have a fine for him soon.

Do you get any run off from the mountains melting off ? I boat right by Mt St Helens and the beginning of the season is intense for eastern guy like me....The flooding, beaches disappearing, massive currents....and debris like i have never seen.I have 3 different anchor setups depending on what time of the very short 4 month boating season.

I'm at the bottom of Puget Sound, all ocean water (damn salt!) so doesn't effect me. But ya gotta watch for floaters! And we get damn big tide swings.

The county commission said ( 6 years ago ) they were going to give us the entire park for boat slips and parking once the new sports complex was complete ( 5 years ago ) on Martin Hwy . Not only hasent it happened , but boater's are now multi tasking and practicing their "pole-valting" skills at the boat ramp ....
