Gary, With the chamber taking on the event they made the decision to cancel now instead of trying to put something half-assed together at the last moment because who knows how long this corona crap is going to be around. This event takes a lot of resources ($$$$) that need to be spent now. T shirts, trophys, insurance, lots of things to get done without having any certainty that the event would happen. Plus getting volunteers lined up. As I've said before there will be a boating event that weekend in Three Lakes that weekend even if its just me out on a pontoon boat with music and beer. Stay safe Scream and Flyers!!!

Thank you for the reply....as you can tell l was lookin forward to attending the event. That said l understand that safety is the prime concern and l am willing to wait out the virus crap as you called it!
Please let me know if there is any thing that l or my race team (RKG Outboard Drag Boat Racing) can do to help with the event. I consider the Three Lakes Shootout to be one of our favorate events.

Gary couldn't have picked the worse year to want to run the shootout and some UMPBA races. He already bought a truck to keep in MN to pull his boat he is having redone here in MN!!! This Virus has messed up the whole dang summer I am guessing for all of us! Hell, he was so excited for this summer he even though up a racing team name for us goofballs! Either way Gary, get your ass over to MN, put that scuba tank on and get on a plane to MN to do some testing!!

I am not completely stuck....still building custom homes. I inclosed the MX 13 in a plastic room outside for some time this winter as l lost the leased shop l had.
The deck is pulled off and the floor and transom are out. I did not disturb the transom exterior glass.
I need to get her inside where l control the temp to start the rebuild. I have the epoxy and coosa board.
