Too bad the flake's shot. Musta been a purty boat at one time. She'll look better once I get a lil makeup on her.

I used to have to add 40lbs to that boat to make 1050 for V4 comp.
Slowly it started to get heavier and required less weight.
It was really beat up when I bought it. I hope you do something cool with it.
Dave, Mike was never upset.
One time we kicked his cane out from under him in front of a girls Volly Ball team. This really tall Amazon, bent down and picked him up like he was a baby.
He was in luv!
Good times..............

Preciate all the info guys. Thanks!
Yeah Dave I found some lead weights screwed in up under the bow.
Thanks for the pic Cuda, sure looks to be her.
I really dig the flake, but the bottom's just been done in an off white.
Made a cool discovery when stripping and sanding. Might do some kinda skeletonized stripe like so?Last edited by 71V153; 04-08-2016 at 03:22 PM.

Motor's gonna be the 88 "extra" special. Pushes the lil Baja up to 66.7 til ya lose control. 6200 spinnin a 25 SRX with more motor left.
Any guesses as to how fast it might push this thing?
Anybody know about what these hulls weigh? Someone told me around 330 lbs?
Feels very light to me. (If I can pick it up it must be light ...)'71 Glastron V153 - Composite rebuild - Unceremoniously wrecked

Said screw it and ripped out the stringers. Gonna put new ones back where they belong. stuck inside the strake. I figger that oughta stiffen her up a bit. Plus it'll give me enough room to fit a 9 gal tank sideways. Gonna extend em a lil farther fwd too.
Then I figured might as well do the knees while we're at it. Got em loose from the hull, now have to free em from the transom.'71 Glastron V153 - Composite rebuild - Unceremoniously wrecked
