I will be putting a pair of small motors on it. Trying to keep the weight down as much as possible and they are 15" as well. It will still be a while before its done, but when it is, it will be right. Takes a lot of time to put this many custom parts together without pushing too hard on the people that are helping you. The boat will be one of one.

When you run at high speeds, let off the gas hard and the gear case and prop drag, it will cause the motor to go into a positive trim position "trail out away from the transom" It can be drastic enough in some cases for the prop to loose bite, drop the bow and lose steering. In other cases, the natural instinct is for the driver to get back on the throttle and they don't realize how high the motor is now trimmed out-again can cause the same net result.

Really curious how it will run with the 300R.
As I have said before, most incredible / fun ride I ever owned. Just at 63, 3 grandkids, and I thought it was time to pass the torch. Still looking to see if something else gets my attention again. Its will just be more user/rider friendly.
I dreamed of owning it when I 1st saw it imported in to the midwest in 2005/6 timeframe. Had no idea it would ever become reality.
I cant say enough about Adam McKeon either, he stuck with me through the whole ownership and made sure I was safe, answered all my questions, dumb, or otherwise, and then helped me sell the boat. He is a stand up guy, and what he says is no BS, no fluff. Just a super good dude!
Stay safe with that weapon!!

We are close. A few more small items and we should be done. Biggest thing is making stainless marine jack plate height linkage work on Bob's jack plate.

This one is going to be FAST-
Randy
I have Bob's lift gauges in the boat but I had Stainless Marine trim and jack indicators in my 21MTR and really liked that because your trim and jack settings are on the same gauge. I made my own actuator for the jack plate but I already had the engine off the boat. If there was a way to do it without taking both engines off, I would like to know about it. It would also free up some space on my dash for an SC5000 Smartcraft monitor.
Thanks
Gary
