River Ranch 2016 Photo Highlights
The tenth anniversary of the River Ranch was, as expected, fantastic. Even though the weather was less than ideal, the attendance was great, and I also want to thank all of you that participated in the photo shoot as well.
A very big thank you goes to Tom and Gina Foley, as well as everybody involved for all of the work they have put into making the River Ranch such a success. Also I would like to thank Jeff Girardi from Freeze Frame Video for allowing me to use his Superboat to shoot off of. It was also always a great pleasure to meet people here. Thank you everybody for all of your support for Scream And Fly and the events our members work hard to create.
Very soon I will be posting an article for the River Ranch's tenth anniversary, which will be a retrospective of some of the best photos I've shot in those years, as well as the photos I shot last weekend. I will also continue to post photos taken at River Ranch 2016.
Thank you all and enjoy!
Greg

Many thanks to those that show up and make this a fun time . It was a great weekend , but we have had some feed back from River Ranch with regard to the No Wake zone by the boat basin being violated and the FWC being called by a fisherman that was waked out . Please , if this deal is to continue some will have to realize that it's not all about "anything goes " and you will have to employ common sense around highly used areas such as the Marina and the RV area in the back of River Ranch . Think about it carefully ......how many areas in the state have so many things on site as this ? I would like to continue this as most would but we have to be a little more proactive and make our group welcome again . Great weekend , great times , let's keep that going !!

We were trying to figure out why the airboats were racing up and down the canal, even after the "sheriff" had his little rant. I too believe that there should be no wake - by any of US especially. However, it's hard to get mad (no pun intended) about something the property workers do themselves. I do believe my brother Bobby Pazos has some live video footage of the airboat races down the canal leading out to the lake. I'm sure they turned a blind eye to that.. Kinda like a double edged sword.. We SHOULD know better in my opinion, but hey I can only speak for myself.Last edited by BShields; 04-22-2016 at 08:35 AM.

I totally get it , very frustrating to see them violating their own rules but we're better than that ! We have no podium to argue with the rules just do the best we can . You know the old saying don't sh.. where you eat !! It's all good and no one got hurt so time will heal most wounds . See you at the next one

Thank you everyone, I am actually getting ready to post 'Part II' of my photo coverage.
Thank you Karl, and thank you for making passes for me to shoot. Your STV is amazing and it just sounds incredible. It's the perfect boat to photograph is every way and I really enjoyed it - thank you!
I am looking at attending either or both of those events. I'm wondering which event might be better for shooting photos and possibly trying out props for people. I would definitely appreciate everyone's thoughts on that.
Thank you everyone!

Greg, In My Opinion, The Cristal Cove Run Would Be The Best For Taking "Pass Pictures" Or Prop. Testing. It's All Idle Speed In The Chanel Going Out To The Sand Bar. Now, As Far As The Water... You Are In The KEYS! So, The Water Is Beautiful For Sure! Where The Majority Of The Guys Put In, There Mite Be An Area To Take Photo's... I'm Not Positive.... The Guys That Put In Could Better Answer That Question. Just My $.02. Come On Down And Enjoy The View! Mike T.
