Which part? The extra.ride pads inside the tunnel at the front? We call them stumble blocks, help hold the nose up in the turns. Our rc tunnels don't have adjustable trim, so other methods of adjusting the attitude were needed. Every one of my different manufacturer tunnels have them. Both position & shape affect how they act, not a set in stone thing.

Not a test plug, kit built wood RC tunnel hull. Still raw wood, unsealed & not yet painted or cleared.

This photo is why we use stumble blocks. Without power trim when we chop the throttle to set the boat into a turn, it would dig in & hook or spin. Those extra pads hold the nose up going into a turn.

In F1 racing why is the bow-nose raised on the newer tunnels?
Compared to the older conventional tunnels.

Is the raised bow-nose help the boat, to not plow into the water in a turn?

Im sure Shawn T could answer better - as their 2021 effort looks nothing like that yellow turd.
