I feel your pain. I have a 1 ton dump body and it cost me more then the cars (1 is a C5) and motorcycles combined. AND, big and, I am the only 1 covered on the truck. Anybody else has to be named. I had a quote for a second driver and the policy almost doubled.

I get my commercial auto through Auto Owners Commercial line. And I'm in FL which has some of the highest rates in the US. I have a 1-ton, 3/4 ton, and 4 trailers including a 14k gvw dump trailer. For 500k liability and collision I'm paying $2400/yr with $1000 deductible.
My BMW, Liberator, and Harley are about $3300/yr combined.\\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\/// \\\///

Oh, ended up being an extra 300 dollars for some kind of fuqing surcharge!!! Insurance = thievery!!!
BTW insurance reform was passed in the Louisiana House, and went to LA Senate committee for a vote. 7 senators on the committee. Voted 5 to 2 to kill it. 5 of the seven were injury attorneys. Go figure.
Anyway, here it is!!! That crane is bad ass!
Anyone need a power head swapped out at a race?
