We've got the boat back but drove thru some major rain and it's still pouring, once it stops I'll get pictures!

I talked to Brad again on the phone. Gas seems to be coming from under the flywheel. Probably a bad top cap seal or bleed line. regulator and stator wires were molested by the mouse. There is so much going on with this motor. I wish I was closer than 8 hours away. Try and fix the broken wires. Look for broken bleed lines (little 1/8” hoses going to the sides of cylinders). Take it to the boat launch and see how she runs in the water on the trailer. Nobody close to Nashville that can look at his motor?

Trent you have been extremely helpful and I can't thank you enough for taking time out to be able to talk to Brad and walk him thru things!! I really thought I'd find someone local on this page that would possibly be able to help or atleast knew what they were looking at more than we do! Maybe we will eventually find someone.

Sounds like a harness swap may be in order. Definitely get a service manual, one for a consumer 200-225 efi should suffice.
The rats raped my rig last winter too! Ate the dang trim wires, live well drain hoses, a couple new life vests, all my mooring ropes, some of the floatation foam...
Try to tackle one problem at a time. Isolate each issue and work them separately or you will be overwhelmed!Josh Peterson

I wish harness swap was that easy. Little bastards chewed wires above connectors to stator. Regulator wires are melted on both sides of connector. Like I said, lot going on with this motor. Very good advice about one problem at a time.

We will start with the worst wires and go from there I guess, he was recommended one other guy that's local and runs this same motor on his bullet so fingers crossed maybe he can come look at it and give his advice or help fixing it. We definitely don't mind paying someone just don't want to sink 5k into it when we could put that towards a newer motor without the problems!

Good. Hopefully he can atleast give you an idea of what motor you really have and what is actually going on with it. Keep us posted. If you need any parts, let me know. I have enough parts lying around to fix atleast 5 motors.

Brad just told me the paper that says what the mechanic ordered is at our other house so I am going to go there tomorrow and get it and see what it has on it and maybe that will give us an idea on what it really is! Thank you so much Trent!!! I appreciate your help/advice so much!!!!

You may search and find one cheaper, but that particular manual should cover your motor, whatever it is!
