[video] This is just psychopathic...
I always have a great deal of respect for law enforcement, and what happens in this video is something that I would never do, for a variety of reasons. But I still find that I was in complete amazement at the skill of this rider, and the outright balls he has. YouTube has no shortage of subscriber-seeking motorcycle riders running from the police, but this particular video is exceptional in its audacity.
The video seems to begin on I-95 in Kingsland, Georgia, and by the time it ends, the rider is in Florida - with no gaps in the recording. At points, this rider reaches 170 mph. At first I wondered a bit if that was really the case, but measuring the location and distance traveled in the time of the video seems to support that. Also, if you look closely at his dash, you can see that his bike is in 6th gear, and you'll also see the shift warning light come on at several points in the video, which again, supports what the speedo is reading. The bike appears to be a Ninja ZX-6R.
I also find it incredible that a police car rides alongside this rider at 125 mph, and almost hits him. This video is bizarrely impressive.

Most reasonable cops will acnowledge a car doing 125 will cause way more damage than a bike going 125. In reality they would be a lot wiser to let the bikes run away and fall back with the cars. Then call in the air support or just let them go. I was damn near killed by a bunch of cops chasing a kid that committed a small traffic infraction. Some times I wonder if the cops are just chasing out of anger/vengance chasing a bike when they are the real danger in a 3500# car doing 125. Is it worth killing someone for a speeder on a bike? And a cop hitting that bike at 125 should be considered murder. OK flame away...

I agree - I was pretty shocked to see the police car giving chase at such a high speed. The police car can be seen also passing on the median at times. That police car could very easily have lost control at that speed, causing fatalities.
It looks like the police did call ahead because the bike rider passes one of them, but they just did nothing - but, what could they do anyway? It does appear near the end that the police just let him go. I'm not sure what he conclusion of this was. It definitely would have been best (and far safer for everybody) if they called in a heli to pursue it.

4 oclock in the morning 1979 Im sitting on a side street in my cruiser, a big 440 Monaco listening to a motorcycle going thru the gears a couple miles up the road. A number of departments had been chasing this kid to no avail in the early mornings. I hear him headed north on the highway Im running radar on. My plan when he gets to me Im gonna roll this big tank out in front of him and let what happens happen. I see his light, I hear him flying he gets about 100 yards from where Im laying in wait and just like that.............I let him go by. Just couldnt bring my self to do it, about 5 miles up the road some 80 year old in his pick up cut the bike off sending him into a telephone pole.

Monaco Those Taurus cars have a weak b pillar for side impact compared to the Vic, better have a good cage at that speed.

The Ford LTD had a big 460 but were know to suck a valve. The Dodge and Plymouth made a much better road block and were faster

Wow!
Rider is lucky as I've personally seen the police ram a motorcycle with their car once the rider has clearly made the decision to run. Not a sight I will ever get out of my head.
At least Two times the police in the this video made the decision not to ram him when they could have.
Seen guys that regularly run with a solenoid operated plate that flips it up so it can't be read when that is needed.
I'm a wuss, I pull over.

440, Practically nimble with the HD setup
No need to make a mess of everyone's day, loose them clean and fast or forget about it, if you can say such a thing. Those highway cars had it going on with the blowers.
