..........its been beautiful around here for the last few days up here in Southern Md. I decided to go out and go oystering........waters were glassy. Me and the missus picked us up some in about 15 minutes..........wearing shorts.........63 degree water.......seriously good times for all. Its 12 oysters short of the full catch...........last nights dinner

Since I dont have any new news about my motor build this week, and the week itself has been a crazy mess for all, I may as well post some stuff that happened out on the water..............I used to have a serious disliking for these critters...not so much anymore......still not doing 'em raw though

Nice cabin entrance does it have a sliding door?
Thats one thing I want to do to mine but not likely.

Think gary/instigator is going to .
Have seen a couple checkmates with some really nice updated cabin entrances but don't have anyplace to do that kind of work at the new place so....

if someone needs to use the cabin to change clothes quick, i just hang a towel with a couple harbor freight squeeze clamps....

if im overnighting, i put the mooring cover on from inside the boat...

    It works...
Not looking to leave it in a marina for extended amounts of time.

the harbor freight squeeze clamps have been in there forever...

i had just launched it, and got my foot caught in the fun wheel. wound up spending the night out on the wet. I didnt have anything along except some beach towels.... I had to make do. It worled good enough to keep a little body heat in the cabin, so i never bothered taking them out.

Yea same I just happened to have the rod in the garage laying on the floor when I was doing work on the boat and threw it in to try and keep the mess out and it's been there since about 2weeks after I got the boat so 16 years ..lol
So not likely to be putting a door in every time I think of it I just think it's more weight ...so no

To get back on topic, yes, way to much politics. Boating is my getaway from this crap. This summer it is just about all we had to do and with record hot weather here in Michigan and cheap gas it was the perfect storm for a fantastic boating season. JMO but when I log on here and there are more political threads than boating threads it's a big turnoff.

Maybe i was mistaken, but i thought the point of the thread was to post up a bunch of boating content?

Well, make a thread or two about boating. Post some pictures or just contribute to other peoples threads. I mean, come on, you have 19 posts in 10 years?
