These stock 225 opti's will surprise you when they are put on light boats. The torque will allow a big prop to be used. For 225 hp they are very strong. (think 240?) I have run one on my V-King many times. And with a custom tuned, very stiff 29p tempest prop it still hit the limiter easily. 1.62 gears and a better lower and speeds of 100 would be easy with 32p props. My gps read 90 for a few secs on one run before the limiter kicked in slowing it down. I just don't want to go that fast or invest in a big prop, so I keep my little 2.5 on the boat.
83 V-King, 96 Mariner, 200 hp ff block 2.5 w/a 28p choppa
We gotta clean this liberal mess up, VOTE TRUMP TO MAGA!
