The $300K Mustang GTD is pretty awesome.
Hard to believe that Ford will be selling a Mustang for $300,000, but that's what is happening. They're making a limited run of these, called the Mustang GTB. I am usually (but not always) more of a fan of GM cars, but that Mustang is really cool. It's said to have 800 HP. Still, the price seems silly.

This is a purpose built car to race in the IMSA GTD class. Hence it being called the Mustang GTD. The car upgrades were designed and the cars are built by Multimatic. The same company Ford worked with for the Ford GT that won LeMans back in 2016.

The Mustang GTD finished 1st and 3rd in GTD Pro at the 24hrs of Dayton. Beating Chevy Corvette, Ferrari, Mercedes AMG, Porsche and BMW.

Fords have the best domestic exhaust sound. Saw a GT at a car show while back. When he started it, I swear the clouds closed up, to give visual effect to the evil symphony, lol.
