I hope the old saying " you get what you pay for " comes into play for the owner that gets to pay 2x to get it done right .
If you where a newb and purchashed this boat- not knowing how it SHOULD be done-
do you even have any recourse to the selling dealer that rigged it ?

Actually, he paid $5k more than he could have gotten it from me. He said he did not hear about me until it was too late.

Its seriously hard to find good work anymore. People either don't know, or don't care how to do something right. It takes time, experience, things the young generation aren't willing to do.

I am not a fan of plastic gas tanks due to their expansion and contraction in hot/cold temps and wonder why there isn't a rubber or neoprene angle bracket piece between the metal strap and tank so it doesn't get scuffed? Can't believe that meets U.S Coast Guard approval
