That is our daughter on the bow, it is really "her boat". This summer she will be able to reach the hot foot, and steer it!

Those motors are great for small hulls! Very light and good power. I bet it would get up in the 60’s with no passenger and some setup/prop work!

I remember seeing that spectre for sale a few years back and really admired the shiny flake! Caught the eye! Glad someone got it who enjoys it and shares it!

I had a 73 rallysport which was a sidewinder. I had a smokin 87 110 crossflow. It was the coolest looking perfect lines but with the rounded pad it could get hairy. I put a 235 on it and it was taken off quickly got my hair wet. There a picture of me running at one of the Rumble's on the River somewhere on here. I miss that boat I beat the snot out of it and it came going. Rick

Used to watch this vid while putting the '64 jetflite together. Couldn't imagine almost twice the HP on it. Love the looks of that little boat, but it was sketchy with 70 prop hp!
Delawarerick..... What was the length of your sidewinder.... Surely more than 14?..... Death wish!!!!!
    Love to see a pic!

Mine was a 16 found it in the weeds of old storage lot bought it for 500 with a dead 73 150 merc tower of power I will look for picture. I had a ball in that thing now I got a comp laser stv with a 140 x-flow exraceboat. This one is fast but yet to get right putting a 27 cleaver on it and will report speed. Fastest I ever saw was 67 with the sidewinder but could not hold it was chime walking thought about adding streks but never did and got a 16 checkmate and ran a tower of power on that. There was a spectra on south Fl craigslist last week.
