Check out my new 2.7 ltr 325 HP V-6

Thanks yall. I appreciate the thumbs up guys. It was a toss up between the 5.0 coyote 302 or the 2.7 ecoboost. I decided on the 2.7 after doing some homework. This 2.7 has great reviews. Better fuel mileage,only 25 lbs less torque and out performs the 5.0 and the 3.5 ecoboost in 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times. All new for 2018 is the 10 speed transmission. The 3.5 will tow a barge if needed but i didn't need that much pulling power and the 5.0's power band is very high in the rpm range. Also this truck is loaded and was only $27.500. I couldn't touch this price and options in any other brand out there. It was by far less than Dodge,chevy and GMC.

Or if you drive my ram run ALL THE FUEL.....lmaooo....i honestly dont drive my truck more than 4 or 5 miles at a clip...its 2 years old and has 10k miles on it...i remote start it all the time, its git 35x12.5 inch tires on it and 3.92 gears and my bed is always loaded with about 500lbs of tools......i average 10.2 mpg....

Wow....$27,500????? Damn.....when i was looking a 4x4 crew cab loaded with a 2.7 was like 45k or more....i wish i was in the land of 2wd pickups....

Those short low temp runs are bad for the exhaust system and oil contamination. Need to find a smart car used lol that can't be highway MPG!

Im a mobil marine mechanic....cant mive boats and load all my tools into a smart....and dont worry i change my oil almost as often as i put fuel in it...lol....and to top it all off i have never owned a vehicle longer than 4 years so getting old and **** breaking aint my problem....

It is my new Ford tow vehicle for the boat tho so that makes it cool to post right

2018 F-150 4x2 Has the twin turbo 2.7 v-6. Makes great power and 375 torque. As quick or quicker than my f-150 SVT Lightning was when stock. And it matches the boat. Sucks I had to sacrifice my 2.5 200 to get it but its just a small set back

Does it have traction control and can you shut it off and still do a first gear start to do a long rotten stinkin burn out?

Yep has traction control and auto start and stop every time your at a red light. Both can be dissabled at the touch of a button. If you turn the traction control off and put it in sport mode its a beast 5.6 seconds 0-60 if you boost launch it

Yesterday in normal mode I stabbed it from 25 mp and it went sideways

Oh yeah the 4x4 is several grand more and the lariat and platinum models are like 50k++

If anyone in florida is looking for the best price by several grand on a new ford car or truck you have to go to Brandon Ford. They buy more vehicles from ford than any dealership in the country and thats why they are much less than everywhere else. This same truck at the two local dealerships near me and the others in the state I searched on line were all over 30k for this same exact truck.

Am I the only one that finds that annoying? I get a lot of rentals and many don’t have the disable option anymore! You still had to kill the auto start again every time you restart the vehicle. I guess I’ll keep driving old junk...

yeah the one i was gonna buy was a lariat XLT or fx4 sport? i think everything was blue and it had dark grey wheels...was a gorgeous truck......blue crew cab black leather, nav, the longer of the 2 beds offered, tow package, ford only had like a $500 incentive along with whatever the dealer was willing to knoc off which was down to around invoice....my ram is LOADEDD sport...dodge had $5k in incentives, plus i got a few other perks because they were running a business owner program so all i hadda do was show i owned my business and was gonna wrap my vehicle with my business name(which never happened) and BAM another $2500 off...ford dealer said GO BUY THE RAM....LOL...

Well I just got the truck yesterday and it to be honest it didn't bother me at all. As soon as you take your foot off the brake to go to throttle pedal it starts and takes off fine. It drops the A/C fan slightly and it will restart if sitting more than a minute or two. It also shuts off the feature automatically when you plug in your trailer lights or when its it tow/haul mode. It may start to annoy me at some point but its easy to touch the button when starting if I don't want it.

Thats cool. Yeah they have like 11k off with incentives,rebates and discounts and if you financed with ford.
