    Hot

The nice thing is its in the shade most of the day when its on the boat lift at the lake. I thought with the black we could use it earlier and later in the season because it would be warmer. (ha ha) I will let you know how it goes if we have a nice weekend.

You still gotta watch the trim .The 2nd or 3rd run comin from the bridge was way too much trim and I dont recommend itOver trimming at high speeds is not good even in the heavier HST.Theres a differance between the boat gettin light and the boat gettin too light!!!Youll figure it out, youll learn the feeling, like they say the HST talks to ya once ya listen to it,take it easy,Practice makes perfect!!!I was told by Balzy ya gotta let the boat get set !!!What that means im not exactly sure but i think im learning the feeling!!Ive put alot of hours in this boat in the short time ive had it,probably too many, but im havin fun so who cares Be safe and have fun!!

Ran the 24ET copy yesterday.Me and the wife in the boat got 99.6mph on the GPS.Hit the recall and it between 8900-9000rpms.I had no blow out this time so i know the rpms were correct!Accelerated better ofcoarse but i like the way my SRX feels, more topend too!!!

Can you post some good pictures of your srx? I wonder what Dah exactly did to this prop?

Im not sure what DAH did to this 27 SRX prop, there is some good cupping to lift that heavy bow on my HST and the leading edge seems nice and thin and it spins some good RPMs.It takes off great and has good top end numbers.Balzy said it was a great prop before he sent it in,I do know DAH is supose to be one of the best for working a SRX.I had a 27SRX on my vking worked by DAH and that prop worked excellent also!!I sold that srx when I sold the vking, didnt think I would need it anymoreYa really cant see anything to special in these pics!!!

I guess I could post a few pix of an HST faster than the "1991 Balzy Edition Hydrostream HST 2.5 merc" (BTW love that!!) - (top end only) Balzy and I turned many miles side by side running twisting rivers just wide enough for jet ski's. Many years of fun!!! Glad to see his old boat in good hands!! <O</OI'll dig up some pix, have to search a few disks<O></O>
