Very glad to hear this...my house has been following Megan’s progress and shooting lots of prayers in her direction. Keep it up!
Some big stuff going on here, well big to us anyway:D.
Its been just over two months since Megan's cardiac arrest. She's been in an acute rehab for just about a month now and making good progress. She is walking with assistance, going to the bathroom on the toilet (believe me a big deal) but she has not been able to speak or make any noise other than sounding like a goose when she laughs and she does a lot of that combined with some frustration and crying but to be expected.
So yesterday we took her to see and ENT (ear, nose, throat Dr). He stuck some contraption up her nose and down to her vocal cords stimulating them. We were very afraid that they had been damaged by the intubation or tubing and she would never speak again. Boy were we pleased when he said that everything looked fine and her larynx was in perfect working order. On the down side that meant that the brain damage was keeping her from speaking but that was better than a damaged larynx and brain damage so we will deal with it.
Well most days I bring my laptop to the rehab and I play music videos for her most the day singing to her. Well tonight Deb, Michele (her younger sister) and I are with her playing the video of the Killers at Royal Albert Hall in England, Megs favorite video. So Mish and I are singing Spaceman to her and the part where the audiance is going,"Wo hoo Woo hoo" Megan starts going "Woo Woo". She shocked herself and was so excited to make noise she started balling her eyes out. So did the rest of us. Well after that we got her to say "Moo" her sisters nickname, "Nan" her gma, "No", "Love", "Mom" "Murph" her dog and "Bye". Im sure it had something to do with the Doctor stimulating her vocal cords during her exam. What a couple days.
But bigger than that we also found that she never lost her biggest talent and mark in this world, yes she is still able to stick a spoon on her nose. Just wonderful.

All good stuff! Glad that she is moving along nicely and very quickly......
Great news, I'm glad she is making big strides with her rehab.
Megan Update as of 11/15/18: I received a text from Mike last night saying "Meg coming home Saturday trying to get her new room in order". More to follow.
Great news!...... All good, since she will be in God's and Murph's hands......;):D:thumbsup:
Great news.....
Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13 KJV
Yes so Rehab is kicking Megan out Saturday:D She will start intensive in home and out patient rehab. She is still a little unsteady on her feet but can walk (assisted) and do stairs, which is why we are so happy that when we built our home we listened to our friends and built a sprawling ranch, handicap friendly. She still is not eating as she is still learning to swallow, crazy little things huh? Her speech is a work in progress, an easy word here or there however last night she said two thing to her sister "Let me see the video" and when Mish asked Megan to go to work for her she quickly clearly said "I dont want to work". She clarified that she wanted to go to her own job not Mish's:D So she's coming home, still on a feeding tube and a assortment of meds though non really serious. Taking meds for pain only on occasion as most the time she refuses her knowing the side effects of pain pill addiction. While our home has 5 bedrooms we decided to convert our dining room into her temporary bedroom so she is in the thick of things and not felt left out. She use to live in the apartment over the garage but that is not reasonable right now. Hopefully Bud doesn't read this as he has been threatening to move into the apt for a couple years now and take my job at Fullers:D
Again thank you all for the well wishes, prayers and donations to my Megan Lynn it means the world to our family. Here is a pic of Megan and Mish last night. I would be lost without the two of them as they are the bookends that holds this family together.

Great news. Thanks for the update!
Excellent news! When my mom took in her father (my Grandpa) when lost his leg to diabetes (little known it then) dad walled of part the living room, and made him his own room. Glad to hear Meg will be at home now!
Megan Update as of 1:00 p.m. 11/17/2018 From Deborah Franzoso: Megan has come so far and still has a long road ahead of her! Today another milestone, she was discharged from rehabilitation hospital. We are convinced that we wouldn't be here today if not for all of the thoughts and prayers, and love and support everyone has shown her and our entire family. There were days I could hold things together and days I thought I was going to lose her and my mind. But I certainly do believe in the power of prayer now!
Side note from me: She still has issues speaking but is making Progress. When I told her over the phone while talking to Mike on her way back home After I said "Ill Put a foot up your ass" she laughed !!!!!!!:):):):)
