I would like to recognize 'George Thompson': George had worked for Mr. K since the Mexican Road Race days, and over the years had raced nearly every kind of boat. George rigged this boat, the second 36' Cigarette--up on the 'Ledge'---towed it to KW with a half ton Chevy--it had never been in the water---we finished rigging it in the parking lot--and we won it's first race!!! Thanks George!!!---RIP
I put this up on FB--this for you that never go there;)
I'd like to thank 'FUJIMO' for putting all this history in one place---we may never know who you are!!!!:nonod:

Maybe, Maybe not
Bingo on the watch Bernie. Agreed on 7 engine stylist, BUT...Don't know if you have "any" LS engine series experience Bernie, in a car(or boat)...they are incredible performing engines, no matter what generation you choose. There is an infamous Hot Rod Magazine article utilizing a high mileage junk yard, cast iron 5.3 litre, which they turbocharged & dynoed for the article. The article is about 3 years old. The numbers they sustained were unimaginable. When they were finished, and were tearing the motor down, they discovered that what they had actually bought for the test, by mistake, was only a 4.8 litre. Look it up.
