...norris "knocky" house, would leave his house every morning at the same time(same time i did) & drive his dark green 1966 el camino with knocky's propeller service yellow lettering advertising all over it, down to his hollywood florida "knocky's propeller service''. many day's with his wife val (valerie) on the passenger side. we would both drive in file south on I-95 to each of our shops & exit where we needed to, for many years. knocky never had a lot of money, but he managed to scrape enough together to buy a new 29' Kustom(brand name) center console hull & deck, hanging from his davits, on the canal behind his & val's house. he managed to power it with a single TRS drive & a 4 cylinder renault engine(i think)...just to putt around out in the nearby gulfstream & drown some bait. he & val were my neighbors forever & a treasure drove of offshore history..

My Dad, a career Mercury man, taught me among many things how to catch freshwater bass fish.
We did not drown any bait, because like the pro bass guys, we all used artificial lures.
The black & white photo is Dad and me. The big bass was caught at Mercury Lake X, after he got off work.
I also joined him at a few of the BASS tournaments, which he was Merc's event tech representative.
