The big orange coil..something you did not want to be on the wrong side of.
I never saw it but I heard the first prototype Thunderbolt ignition system just barely fit into a five gallon bucket! Guess it shrunk a bit after that. Floyd Minks was the originator if my feeble memory serves me right.Quote:

I have doubts Mercury. Mechanical moving parts eventually have a life-span. Due to multiple factors.

Another minor issue on my part. With explosions going on the piston chamber, and Jet-Prop exhaust, I was unaware that the reed valves were noisy too.
