Not yet. Still need to finalize minor changes and machine time. It's getting very close

.
Is the electronics and fuel systems and air systems all derived from CRT or will other speed shops like Diamond Marine (Ft Lauderdale) have input into the the completed motor?
.

It would be great if they could hook up with MSD for the ignition!

Well the merc parts may be hard to get for it or at least genuine bits they don't even make triggers for s3000 any more Diamond marine couldn't fill my order the other day and four other outfits the same.

Thats correct. Many of the parts are coming up NLA

So who use to make the triggers for Mercury? I doubt they made them in house.

you would think CDI would step in?

Like their other vendors, I'm sure it's shrouded in mystery. I haven't looked but I'd guess that CDI makes triggers. Their stators and switch boxes run great

That's what Mercury Plant 9/7/EPM in St Cloud about 10 miles west of Lake X does.
-
Ok that being the case why don`t the people there sell them? Merc no longer cares so it`s time somebody steps up that does.

You answered your own question, Merc no longer cares. That is a Mercury Marine/Brunswick plant, the people assemble whatever parts the company says, it isn't like they can freelance and slide stuff out the back door. I'm not saying this to be an ass, I was just trying to shed some light on the fact that Merc actually WAS making their own coils/stators/triggers/etc "in house". I'm with ya, I hope the aftermarket picks up the ball and runs with it, not like Merc should care any more if the parts are NLA and they aren't losing sales.
