It's on a poontoon and it used to trim up as high as needed. I feel it must be a limiter/setting? Even at 1/2 throttle it will only trim up about 60% but if you you are idling it will trim all the way up? Any idea's?
Thank's

Vesselview(smartcraft) setting. It happened to me after Mercury screwed with it at the dealer. Would only go just above neutral trim. I changed setting in Vesselview
Check and make sure active trim is either disabled or settings are adjusted for your speeds.
One of my verados stopped trimming up altogether when on plane. Test it by unplugging the trim sending unit. It is located at the back of the motor by the coils. The sending unit is the little rectangle thing that sticks out under the flush port on the port side of the motor.
In our case, unplugging the sending unit allowed it to trim again, so we replaced the sending unit and it all works well now
My boat setup does not have the active trim module installed it say. And I can't find any settings that would limit trim just calibration of the trim % that is displayed. When you found a setting was it like a limit for trim or?
Thank's
Update
No setting is the problem dealer hooked up there master computer and reset all trim stuff. Still no trim under power. They ordered a new trim sensor....... will update after installation.
Thank's
Well put a new trim sensor on it, when I took it off water was in the little pocket where the sensor mounts and the sensor was wet. Installed new sensor 99% sure problem was fixed seeing the trim sensor was wett! But after putting boat in water no good same thing. Trim works 100% perfect until you get up on plan and past line 50 throttle it will not trim up past like 55% now.
Help guy's!!!! Where to look next? Does engine need programming after sensor installation? Sounds dumb but I did kill the batteries last night have not done that all year. Will see what it does today.

Trim fluid level?
Burned trim motor?
Why isn’t the dealer fixing it?
If it is a 3 ram.... it could be the main relief screw......Bad o rings/ broken tip that holds the last O ring......If single ram?????The hoses switched......the rev has a press relief that lets go if ya hit some thing.....at least the old ones.
Sounds like someone has the limits messed up.
The dealer needs to hook up G3 and look at the counts.
If you have smartcraft you can reset it yourself at home
