New tires for my 50 year old Lotus

My old tires are 12 years old, medium mileage, and look new. But conventional wisdom is to replace by 10 years.

It's just about no longer possible to buy performance tires in 185/70-13 these days. The last set of tires were just plain all season radials, which seems wrong for a sports car. This time I found modern performance rubber with a vintage tread pattern.

The Tire Rack delivered the tires to my office today. It will be a couple of weeks before I get the tires installed and get the car back on the road.
