The nice Lady in the picture is building my 308, interestingly, she built the 1998-28 we owned also. The resin infusion is starting in the hull in the next pic. The boat has been in the mold since January.

nice pic
Looks like the two sponsons are under vacuum pressure and the tunnel ceiling will be done next?

Kirk also builds trailers.
"Got materials yesterday, we had a little hurricane problem. 10" side rails, 6" cross members, it's a little overbuilt for a 5000 pound boat.", Kirk said.

400s Jim?
Joe
Yes he is doing 400's.
We are going to have some really fast mid size cats in the Florida camp. I bet Patty will like the wind protection factor much more which will in turn make it a better boat for Jim as well.
Joe
Thanks Joe, Patty insisted on a Skater, she likes the high sides. I hope I like the 400r.
Congrats on the new Whip Jim, it's gonna be a another killer piece !!
I ran the 36 Doug Wright last week with Myric out at LOTO and they are a different piece then what we are used to. Top end is good but you have to keep them wound up to feel response. I am pretty sure that 3 XS motors would fit right on that 308 transom;)
Joe
Trips were my first plan, love the XS with X pans and cowlings. However everyone I discussed it with said it was a bad setup, except Joe.
My vote was triple 300x motors LOL. It is not too late Jim!!!!

trailer build continues...
