Can you run a 97' gearcase on the older V8 Johnsons. I'm running 95s on there now. The model numbers are different on the 95 and 97 but all the part #s are the same. Just seeing if anyone has done it or knows if it bolts on and works.

V8 units can be interchanged so long as both are same rotation.
