Need some help propping my 22 Activator. I have on a 300xs Optimax with a sporty 1.75 mid, 8" setback. What's the best prop for a circuit race for this setup? Then what would be the best speed prop.
Thanks for your help

Bravo 1 or a pro max
While we are on the theme of 22 Activator set ups. I have a 03 with the notch. It has a16” stainless marine bracket. Last year I was running a 2.5 200 on a 4” jack about 2” above the pad. Boat was a bit hard to plane off but balanced and ran very smooth. I repowered with a Yamaha 300 Hpdi and rigged it on the bracket 1.5” below the pad
I have to give a ton of trim to get the nose up and it wants to bow steer. I have tons of water pressure 20-25 psi. I have tried a28p bravo 1 way too much stern lift and bow steer scary bow steer. A 25p ballistic 4 blade that ran decent but needed lots of trim and I was on the limiter. 71 mph then I spun the hub. And a 28 mazko re again needed a ton of trim but could get it aired out at 73 but only 5500 rpm.
My thought was the the the heavier motor would need less set back and engine height. As it would help carry the bow. Next I’ll try bringing the motor up a couple holes and see how that does. Maybe pick up a trophy prop as a tester as they seem to run well on these boats. My buddy has a hydromotive quad 4 26p I can borrow but not sure that will get the bow lift I need.
I have ave a 6” hydraulic jack plates I can try to bring the motor back. But that may be a bit far. But would allow me to mess with engine height, or pull the bracket off and start with 6” set back and work my way back.
Thoughts??
Does anyone know where the Yellow 22 Activator with the white bottom "intense" ended up? Who has it now ?
i spoke to the dude who owns it i think it was in CT? i dont remember
They are nice wave handlers but most are bow heavy. I had a 1990 and took out the front bow stringers and replaced with short ones and glassed the front area with coring. Then I added transom supports and ran a Yamaha 250 OX66 on a 18'-21' setback. Ran strong 82-85 with a Spinelli 29 4 blade. Also ran good with a 28 solas S3. Motor was 1.25" below bottom.
It’s been in storage for several years in MD.
