No War Canoe....no enduro
I agree Capt.
The original or the current hull?
Interesting. Was your thinking to add extra oil because you intended to run your motor above a certain RPM's for the Enduro.
Don't see how Mr Chopper would have shot that one down. Don't see it being a issue for the current rules committee, which again I'm not part of.
Above what RPM's do you think would benefit from this.
Would a 7 pedal, EFI, behind the liner 2.4 fat block running 6800-7200 possibly benefit from this modification.
I was set up to run 8-8500. The way the math figured out was about 18:1 running 50:1 in the tank,, the extra oil filtered down from the top main to 1 and 2, top center main for 3 and 4 and lower center main 5 and 6 the lower main bleed line I ran back to the vent hose to the fuel tank.

Probably didn't see to many Suzuki's back then

Definitely not many Suzuki boats in the 80s. Heck, Yamaha was just beginning to get their foothold back then. Cool pic.
We ran the Yamaha 225 Excel and it was a great motor. Tough as nails. The Suki however was not. The bolt on cylinder jugs just were not strong enough.
I know this has been asked b4 and I'm by no means a inboard guy but seems like that would b the ticket to finish the race ,, or they just fall apart worse than the o/b?
I watched this beauty run around like a clock for hours only to quit right before the end...they seem to pull up lame after a couple hours.
