The obvious question....what's up with the skeg?
Sorry. Can you elaborate?
I don't have a picture of it so I just grabbed this old photo of my boat. Other than it needs to be cleaned up, is there something amiss?
Looks like a bunch of the skeg is missing
Not sure about that.... it has a very fine edge on it. I'll get some better photos of it to post.
Here's a better picture of it as it sits in the garage.
It looks new other than it's not as shiny as it once was. None of the skeg is missing.

It's supposed to look like this

There's nothing missing. LOL. :)
Factory sporty skeg measures 10 1/4" at the root and 6" across the bottom. Not trying to pot stir on your F/S thread but that skeg has obviously been trimmed at some point. Not saying it doesn't still have some significant value but most guys that run these, including myself, want a stock skeg as a starting point.
Just list it as a omc mod sport master :D
JacksonBean....That skeg has LOTS of material missing from the leading edge for some reason, just look at transomstand posted picture that is what unmolested original skeg should look like.
Can we get a picture of the other side please
Jackson, here is another picture of a sporty with a tape for reference.
