I have been on the phone with Tech support, they do not reccomend any of there products for any boat over 70 MPH. I have had a problem with there helm at high speeds, and that was the response.

Mercury double ride guide is the best if you can find it. String steering works well. Hydraulic steering has been used in high speed boats but costly.
My brother also had trouble with the uflex steering went to the facility they tested it let it purged it it was a piece of junk now he has the Allison Pro c-store system works great I have the regular cstorepro in my Allison 20002 and their works good I've had to build up to a hundred miles an hour no problem
IMO you spoke with the wrong folks. I have run SilverSteer units above 75mph with zero issues. They have two models that are designed for this. I have found them to be well built units.
Dual opposed Sea star pro 2 what I run
I have the Silverstar series, have had 3 different helms, at about 70 on my Allison you are chasing the wheel to the right to go straight. Also it has been bled every which way you can, there is no air in the system.
Yes, I have Pro as well on another boat. Also an excellent unit but Uflex IMO is also very high quality.
I can't disagree my self because I've never ran a uflex !
No problems with my UFLEX Silversteer system. Once I got it bled perfectly, it was solid. I know a lot of guys who run it
