Wow someone is so miserable they have time to go do crap like that, I feel sorry for how bad a life they must have.
You are just a popular guy....
No sweat off my back, let them go! I am not making a living off of it so ?
Just shows they are a piece of $hit!
Oh, I received an email from YT wanting me to go with the ads.... They wanted a CC number, etc.
Anyone do this? I may need to activate an old CC and use it ... ?

From my understanding of monetizing YT you need to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of public view time. Then you apply to YT to begin the monetizing process. I doubt they would send an email asking for a CC number. That sounds pretty scammy to me.
I'm getting fairly close to these numbers myself, I need about 150 more subscribers. Not that I'm trying to make a living off YT etc. I've just been posting videos of my build and now running the boat. I enjoy the editing and like having the videos to show family/friends. Being close to the numbers needed I'd like to do it. More on a principal basis, YT runs adds on my videos and gets paid, they should kick some down to me.
Tony.
No, it was no email. It was in the application where they would have somewhere to make a deposit.
Thanks Tony. BTW subscribed.
And I thought that is where the funds came from??? Adblocker Plus still works on my PC, but not my tablet.
Thanks, for the sub!
I don't know what the application would look like as I haven't met the standards yet, so I really can't speak to that.
I believe the revenue that is paid to YT "creators" comes from the adds played on videos.
I used to get revenue from YouTube until they changed the requirements. I was paid directly into my checking account through "adsense"... I had one video that got well over 1 million views.. Made a few hundred dollars. Now my page no longer qualifies... That's fine with me. But Forkin... It doesn't look like you are anywhere close to qualifying for monetization... I would be very cautious here, I suspect someone may be attempting to scam you.
