The joint takes place beside the seat box,there is a 8 1/2 oz biax covering the stringer,then a 17 oz between the seat box doubler.Then there wil be another 17oz and a nine ply 15" long piece on the outside.Im 100% confident in the joint.I am not sure that one 8 1/2 oz biax cover tabbed to the floor is enough for the stringers.Here is a picture of the joint today without the outside doubler.Attachment 430742

In my opinion the reason it broke the first time was because of the crap layup with no glass basically. Now you are going over the stringers with a much stronger glass. It will not be an issue now.
