2005 Hydrostream Voyager 250xs in NY
This is a 2005 Hydrostream Voyager with a 250XS Mercury Racing optimax outboard with a sport master lower unit. I've had the boat 10 years now and never had any issues with it. I'm unsure of the hours. It had 100 when I bought it and I have used it sparingly as the season here is very short. I have a smartcraft mobile on my other boat that I can use to check the hours. The boat is all composite so no rot issues. It will need to be buffed out and waxed. The red gelcoat gets chalky quickly if you don't stay on top of it. The interior also needs work on the rear seat cushion where you always step on it to get in and out. The rest of it is in decent shape. It has a GPS speedometer with recall. I've gotten just under 80mph with it but it seems to want the trim and jackplate just right to get there. It has a 26p trophy plus prop.
I'm going to start out asking $18,000 but will listen to offers. I would be interested in a partial trade for a Vector/Vking just so I can still have a fun boat.
I didn't have a wife, three kids, and two dogs when I got it. We got a pontoon...
The boats is not in mint shape and has some wear and tear for being almost 15 years old but structurally and mechanically is excellent. This has been the most dependable outboard I have ever owned.
