Hi, I have a 1999 Checkmate Pulse 170 with a 1999 135hp Optimax. I run at 57mph on GPS. I am interested in putting on a manual jackplate. I can buy a 9" off a friend for a very good price. Will that work good or is the set back too far? I have no experience with jackplates. Thanks
