No, mine was perfect
They come to my shop with a $25k measuring machine.
Incredible look.
I had this stainless steel transom plate made. It will go on the inside. The bolt pattern is for a 17" "PORTA" bracket. It's 3/16" thick and made with a wterjet. Now I think I'm going a little to far!
Got the interior back. All colors are the carbon fiber look. I also put the new transom plate and Porta baracket on. The bracket has 17" setback and 12" of lift. Motor is a 2017 300xs for now until I can get a 25" 300R. I also put an 8ft BLADE Powerpole on the back and swim platform.
Very cool stitching job
That 300xs should do just fine.
That's a fine looking center console .
I hope you have a young apprentice your passing some of this talent on to! I know the design ideas aren't transferable but the paint/taping and rigging certainly is!
Never had an employee in over 40 years! Too old to start ow.
I bet wildman works till crazy hours to get this work done. 60 hr+ weeks for weeks on end. Can't get any helper to stay 40 hrs much less more. Some of theses paint procedures require a go till it's done work ethic. Sometimes you might have a 18 hr work day. I made my money and gave it up for a cushy job while I was still not isocyanate and styrene saturated. (yes i'm a wuss) I went thru more helpers than I can remember. Finally gave it up.
@WILDMAN Randy is like Jesse James and Chip Foose rolled into one. The Superboat looks so perfect!
No reason they should not shoot a TV series of Wildman and his work.
I got all my powdercoated rails back and my seats mounted today. I also painted the backs of the seats silver marble.
I hope Superboat takes some notes. That boat is coming out great.
