I of course carry because I'm retired LEO. I'm strapped most of the time. Have many guns but that's not for disclosure what I have:D
No of course not, but just an interesting topic with all that's going on with gun control I was just curious how this population felt about it
the reason way I asked there are some advertisers here that are gun related and it would interesting if there is a connection
Dirk, we should get together and do some target shooting sometime😁
I'm trying to learn from Mikey about Guns.
Hopefully you guys never have to deal with gun control. Take it from someone that does it SUCKS.:nonod:
Dave:)
The only Gun control this North Carolina Boy is going to deal with is:

You need a license to buy 22 ammo here.
Dave
To me the old saying, "gun control is hitting what you are aiming at " is the only gun control I will ever cooperate with . Period!
I carry when I know i'll be in a bad neighborhood......down here, that is just about everywhere......... funny thing is, someone once tried to carjack me, as I got out of the car, I slammed him with a beer bottle and took off. Had to stop at the next 7-11 for a new beer. I actually started carrying right after Hurricane Andrew, we were delivering travel trailers to the affected areas and were constantly approached by thugs wanting the rig. Got to the point where we would just leave our guns on the dash as we drove....thugs saw that and kept on going.
New york new jersey and ca. have the toughest gun laws, here in New york one night when everyoine was sleeping Cuomo signed S2230 that changed a lot of things in New york
In CT, you cant even buy an AR15 anymore, since Sandy Hook.
here to the only consulation if you had them you got to register them with the state so one day they can come and take them:nonod: but you can buy a AR varient without a pistol grip and flash suppresor go figure and dont get cought with a 30 round mag its a felony now
Yup, same here, even made people register their high cap mags. I moved my stuff out of State. Refused to register anything. Full Auto wasn't effected by the new legislation so now I have a suppressed MP5 submachinegun by the bed :)
Hopefully come this November someone will be elected that doesn't wanna violate the second amendment.
Its 10
It's nice having theseAttachment 330447
Here is whats ridiculous in NJ. Now that Im retired I cant carry hollow points any more, just ball and we all know how well that stops.
They were actually made for the Glock 18 which was full auto. I had four in my department arsenal but they were impossible to qualify with when you attempted to follow the course set by the Attorney Generals Office.
the problem with ball ammo is it doesnt like to stop with what it hits like a hollow point putting the public at greater risk of thru and thru or ricochet.
Yes u are correct Mr pitt. I'm a fan of hollow points + P and if zombies come I'd probably go for ballistic tips.
I would use a good cast iron frying pan
I think civilians shouldnt carry anything but ball, in the event of self defence, there have been cases where the da's have used the excotict rounds against the good guy, it never turns out good, the best thing is to get yourself away if you can, and call the pro's
HAhahahaha you are kidding right? How delusional can one person get? What the hell good is a ball going to do w/o a bat? Convicted by twelve or carried by six.....
Thank God we here in North Carolina dont have any restrictions on Magazine capacity, Ammo Type etc. And we have one of if not the best Castle Doctrin/Stand Your Ground Laws anywhere in the US!!! Ours even extends to our neighbors.
And I love my Ball ammo especially after I have slit the head in 4 quadrants :)
My neighbor shot a home invader and the local law supported him. No talk of prosecution, as the guy had a record a mile long was armed and breaking into his house at 2am with him and his family in it asleep. Never even made it into the news....That's how it should work....
What about Pow'RBall ammo Mikey?

I totally agree but here in Ny and NJ i can site cases where it didnt go good for the good guy, rescently there was a Philidelphia mother passing through NJ with here 380 Bersa, she had a CCP, she got pulled over, in the end they prosecuted her , it took a firestorm of support from The NRA attorneys she got a pardon from Gov Christy, my point being it can go wrong for the good guy, there are cases where the prosecutors made issues about trigger jobs.....
