Looking for some guidance on setting up the new ride. Currently running a 15" 2.5 200 bone stock. Have 6" set back jack plate with a stock 200 case with a bobs nose cone. Question is what prop runs the best? Would a sportmaster be faster? motor height? any help would be great. Spun about 7300ish with motor a little low and got 102.7......whats the winning combo on this boat. Was told the boat weights about 525lbs but havent confirmed that but know its light. Thanks!
Sporty might be faster but you would have to raise it a little higher than a v6 case coned likes to run. I always liked the 30 x 14.5 merc cleaver for all around fun prop or a 30 et. I ran mine about 3/4" above the pad with a coned merc v6 case like you have but with the sportmaster I ran it about 1 1/4" above the pad. Try that and see what ya get. A little trial and error is best. I ran 101 first time out in mine with a 2.4 200 15" mid and a coned v6 case useing a 30x14.5 cleaver. At that time the motor was low. Thanks Gary. Keep in mind the hights ive mentioned were my setup for drag racing wich is a lil lower than most run for top end but they are pretty good for all around hights.Have any pics of your T3?

Chris... Call Jeff tomorrow say "ok the joke is over". He will laugh out loud... DO NOT HANG UP.......... He will then tell you bring the boat by so he can unscrew the throttle stop on the hot foot so you have more then 1/2 throttle. Nice boat but not the same one I posted a while back. I posted the blue one that used to belong to Riky from the Keys. His didnt have the extended tunnel and a different shade of blue. Thats still a sweet rig. Have fun guys and be safe.Quote:
