That link is about crossflows. QL77JC4 is the resistor plug, L77JC4 is the non resistor. You'll have many people tell you to run the BR8HS NGK, but I like the Champions.
That year model should have QL78yc plugs
Hey Al, what year did they change?
The first closed deck blocks had ql77jc4 (1993) The 94 on now call for the 78YC plugs, remember the original 93 had a smaller chamber in the head.
93s had a smaller chamber then 94s?
I originally ran the 78YC in my 2000 OMC but I switched to the 77jc4 cause I had a whole bunch laying around and didin't notice a difference. Whenever I change 'em I look for the 78YC but if I can get the 77JC4 cheaper I just use those.
i thought racer told me?
Al is right, but the QL77JC4 is a good plug too. Plus you can get them at WalMart for like $1.50 or so...really cheap.
cheers guys for the help ,,appreciate it cheers
