Pennzoil @ Walmart

Just got off the phone with Joe the buyer ( Super nice guy )for Walmart and I explained to him the concern some of us had as to Walmart discontinueing the 100% Pennzoil he said it was because of the lack of sales. I explained to him thatthe lack of sales was due to the oils location in the stores in the automotive section instead of the boating parifinalia, he said he would look into it and he was going to get on S&F tonight and check out the site !

Any help would be GREAT JOE!!!

Yup, down there mixed in with the motor oil. I had to look like hell to find it when I first started looking for it.

I'd love to see it back on the shelves at Wal-Mart. Merchandised with the boat/sporting goods stuff. They put that nasty Lubrimatic stuff there, why not the good stuff?

Just start selling it again PLEASE! I'm running low. Only got 2 or less gallons left.

I tell / TOLD all my boating friends what a bargin it was and how you could get it at ANY Walmart, Boy do I look BAD now.


Get Sam on the phone dammit... We want out OIL back. See I used to get my oil changed while shopping for my 2 cycle oil,,, hmmmm more lost revenue.

and I got a very nice response from him. After that I bought 10 gallons from one of my local Walmart stores. I have a little left but I will need oil after a while.... I am planning on switching to the Mercury high performance oil but if Walmart brings back the Pennzoil 100% synthetic I will continue to buy it!

When I read the news here Wal-Mart was going to quit carrying it I bought the last 5 gal out of 2 stores, running 3 race boats this year plus my AllySS/ 280 I'm OUT!!!!!!! HAd to go and buy something else, please get it back.

Try and consider carrying the oil again. I have 1 gallon left and i'm having a tough time buying it anywhere else.

I'm very brand loyal !!!I Would love keep buying Penziol from walmart.

You can count on the southern NH stores and massachsetts stores near me will get my business. I run it in everything from my 4 HP trolling motor to my jet ski's all way up to my action marine.

I agree ,,,i drove 45 mins to get oil i trust to run in my boat,,,shure was nice only going five mins to wallmart to get it.

I would also say penzoil needs to spruce up the bottle alittle. Talk about its ability to keep the bridges in my exhaust port from smearing my rings! :D Seriously, plane bottle, poor location in store, but SUPER product!!
PLEASE bring it back!
I go to menards now but they were down to one bottle last week....

Walmart sells there oils to mostly fishermen and recreational boaters anyway (lake licers too ;) ). I think most people are too cheap to use the 100% synthetic. They will choose the blend or the regular oil. Which the regular oil is about half price. I cannot really blame them, they are trying to make money and put every mom and pop store out of business.....oops they already have...:eek: LOL!

What we need to do is ask our local marine dealer or even one of Scream and Fly's sponsers to handle it.....of course it would not be as cheap.

I am thinking of running Klots.

Synergyn is another alternative, I have run it before, although I am not sure if it was a blend or 100%.

i run a quick lube and a our main oil supplier is penzoil. try going to one of your local oil change franchises and talk to the owner or manager and they can get all the gallon jugs you want i can get it.
it will actually cost a little bit more than wall mart (they tell the suppliers how much there going to pay for it because of the mass quantity they buy). any way go talk to one of the local quick lubes they should be able to fix you guys up.
