Help me pick at Type I vest

Seems like there are only a couple of common brands, Stearns and Kent, and there is quite a variety of prices. Can anyone lay on me some pros and cons of some of these? I'm tempted to go cheap, (but not the square-collar kind), only because I don't really know what to look for. I guess I basically don't want something so uncomfortable it will drive me crazy... like the square collar vests look like they would.

I don't plan to go racing, but I'm already into the 60's with the a v4 on the Viper, and if I put on this 2.0L V150 Merc I'm rebuilding, well, it just seems like the responsible thing to do, to use something better than a ski vest.

I was thinking about this one.
