The GoPro Hero mountable video cameras are great, but very expensive. A much less expensive alternative that is gaining a lot of popularity is the Emerson Go Action Cam. They run around $55 and shoot 720P HD video. We'll have one for a full review very soon, but I thought I would give you all a heads-up on this. The video quality is reported to be very good. I will post samples when it's reviewed!

you can find those around for $35, got one at menards fr that, also saw them at biglots. I havent had the chance to try it yet though.

The Contour HD is the way to go, easy to use and great web based softwear. to edit with.
