Pics of "MERC" decals on NON-Alien cowlings?

Hey guys,

I really like the look of the "merc" decals but I have a 2003 250 EFI Cowling. Is anyone running Merc decals on anything other than alien cowlings? Pics please? Or does merc just look wrong on anything but an alien cowling?

Yup, exactly! Where did you get that decal?

I just want to see what the merc decals look like on non-alien cowlings. Specifically on the '03 EFI cowlings but all types of non-alien are appreciated.

mine came on that cowl I posted. I beleive its a 98 or 99 F1 or champ cowl.

Really...it came factory with that?? I had no idea...I thought the whole merc thing was an aftermarket thing. Looks great on there. I am trying to figure our what it would look like on an 03 EFI cowling that is now just all black.

Helm the only one I see is the little round red one on the jack plate!!!

These are on one of my cowls. It is not a drag cowl though :D

Well, mostly... I did a little work to the exhaust and intake, changed out the mid, new jackplate, hydrolic steering, and new prop.

The ones like in Helm's photo were only made for one year. I'm pretty sure the 300 Drag also had that cowl and scheme.

I was on Ossipee for 20years but now on Long Lake / Sebago for the last 4 yrs
