Look on Ebay for a "REAL" Merc manual for your motor. If ya don't find one there go ahead n bite tha bullet n get one from Merc. Its probably tha best money you'll ever spend if ya gonna do this stuff yourself. JMO..................T
Now thats information I can use , Thanks for the tip:confused:
Its not meant ta be a smart ass answer. A good manual will really benefit anything your wantin' to do with good pictures and description, and you will have it right there with you. If you have one it will make any questions and answers on this site a lot easier ta cypher. Sorry if ya took it tha wrong way.Have a nice day :) ...................T
There's a guy on ebay selling a cd which has the manuals for just about every late model merc on it for about $6.00... I got one, really a good deal. Probably not legal, but it's all in pdf format and is searchable...something the paper manual is not. If you want a paper copy, just print yourself one.

under 10 bucks shipped.
I have one of those disks. On the 2006 Master tuning specs it shows:
Idle Timing 0-9 degree ATDC
Max BTDC cranking - 16 BTDC
WOT Timing BTDC - 22 degree BTDC
BU8H for plugs
Ya running that on the Mirage this year Woody?
The screw that adjusts the roller on the throttle bodies fell out , that made the throttle arm go past where it was to pick up the roller . I should have had a better look before I asked for help . I put in a screw and adjusted the roller , and all is good now . This was all behind the fuel pump and was hard to see . Thanks for the replies on the manuals .
Hey Brad !
Got a 2.4 BP EFI for the Mirage , if I can get it to run right .
