Finally Little Jeff [my son in law] who just happens to be a printer, printed me off the best pictures he could find of the KARELSON record boat . So much more detail available on decent pictures —example is the tail off in the back to front picture .
These are about 18 inches by 12 with a clarity rarely seen on normal photos .
Just wish i had them before i started doing the concept —- well, one things for sure —i am going to have a crack at a third boat —- just because i can—same reason folk climb mountains —race boats —and go for records . And sometimes die in the attempt !!!!!!!

Looking more and more like there will not be any travel arrangements to be made for a trip to Havasu this month. I could go to Canada and then into the USA— thats hardly cricket though is it ??

Did manage to get the trusty Lexus filled up with gas yesterday lunch time in Chichester —went straight to pump number 13— seems everyone goes home for lunch —comes back in the afternoon and forms a three hour queue, stupid or what ??
Fill up will last me at least two weeks —maybe more if im careful.
Talked with Gary and Louise then Scotty B yesterday——-no more racing ever again for MISS GEICO—it‘s over . Thought they might have at least done KEY WEST —but apparently not .
Scotty is quite content to just rent out his 36 foot RV for $400 a day and take it easy for a while .
Gary and Lou have plans which i’m sworn to secrecy about ——- must confess they are a tad sensational, high profile and ambitious .
Mark is slowly getting it all together again after losing Vicky—concentrating on his props business after the move from fort Pierce back to Stuart.
Saturday and its car boot sale and a trip to Bognor Regis to look at a planer thicknesser—- almost new -but loads of money—i sniff a deal here —-always do well when its raining!
Have a good weekend —i certainly will , even though the aching ankle still throbs like a thumping headache .
