Yes, this is from 1981 and Mercury made very good props. You needed to modify the rubber hub to solid. I dont think its a quicksilver cable steering. (Pretty pricey overseas) Teleflex in Sweden made a similar for a better deal.Quote:

Second Effort sold engines they installed the kit but Limited Edition model and cost way more money.
1988 was the first year for factory counter rotation from OMC.

I got the first counter V6 lower made in 1980, it was as mentioned a forward neutral only. Here in the USA the first 160 inch 235 was 1980 not 81
