I remember this being built and tested. I'm getting old, but as I remember, it was a take-off from a Bell Ranger helicopter and was adapted to fit a 2.5L mid/Sportmaster gearcase. These turbines have to be replaced after so many hours and are put up for sale. Jay Leno has a motorcycle with one of these engines...
I don't remember this working very well and at something like $60,000 wasn't practical. Gordon
