Hiya Johnno, remember all the online "DISCUSSIONS" we had long before we ever met, we were fit to punch out each other's lights------when we first met face to face at the old farts, we just shook hands, had a big hug and I realised what a twat I had been, rest is history.

Mercury present day don't give a rats asse about yesterday and apart from Butlers "Little Red" have done next door to sod all to preserve their history.
Lets face it if it wasn't for fact there are a few well heeled enthusiastic ex boat racers made good ALL the old engines would be used as anchors or mooring buoys.
Had a lot of time on my hands the last couple of weeks so was able to read the full history on OLD BLUE----I still find it hard to believe my family has such a huge piece of Mercury history for the price of a round trip ticket to London .
