Just throwing this out there to any one from Jacksonville or surrounding areas. If yaw want to we can meet up at the Wal-Mart in stark on 301 like we have in previous years. Till then I will continue to dance :cheers:

I will be coming down from Camden, SC... so I will most likely pass by that route. Need to look it up on Google Maps to be sure.

What is the status on the hotels? Any suggestions for a First Timer? I am bringing the slow Daytona with the wrong prop boat. ;-)

Hey tango we usually go up Saturday and make the run from fanny springs to the split. I would imagine yaw are comeing Thursday night and stay the weekend and you should if you can. Great weekend of boating. But if not ans are comeing SAT hell yeah jump in line.

Most guys stay at days inn in chiefland its nicer , than gables but gables is on river but just as long as u don't mind ur socks sticking to carpet :) .... Ellie rays is nice cabins are small and only a few so might want to call ahead , I'm staying Ellie rays in rv , also. River is awsome but try and find someone who is familiar with the area to follow up the run there is a sandbar and few things to watch for .... Ill b in a vector that I can barely drive so will b goin slow anyways lets make a slow boat group and cruise together .....ill b there thurs or fri morning depending on work ...
