Great gear case video, just for safety, i hope the new case is on with the proper fastners, ive heard horror storys if the wrong fasteners were used. I wouldnt want to see anyone get hurt.

i agree if he's got side pickups still getting water Id think it's too low. The tuff has static setback plus 18" so it's probably 24+" back from the drain plug. Water rises quickly in 2ft @ 90

Ps keep an eye on that Cmc plate they start getting play in them I had one and it wasn't on a offshore boat.

Do you mean because of the transom notch that the Tuff incorporates into the keel?

Yes setback is setback. Doesn't matter if it's a plate or built in to the boat. My buddy's HST went just shy of 100 it was back 18" from the transom but had another foot from the transom to the drain plug. Almost 30" back 3.5" above still felt too low.

FYI 32 pro et has a lot of bow lift which you don't want,I found the merc labbed pro et worked better on my 22 Progression less lift more speed

If it's a bblades its not a Merc prop

Gotcha. That's a lot of overall setback. Not sure what Mario at IPM had in mind when he left two of the side water inlets open and functioning on the modified M2 case but I'm sure there's a reason.
