I got this yesterday from the Canadian boat racing champion and friend Mark Rotharmel. Mark raced the F1-V8 series also.
Thanks Mark very interesting reading from Montreal Gazette early 1985.
I like to add..Mercury did nothing at this time to improve tunnel boat safety. Only OMC, Chris Hodges and Cees Van Der Velden.

Mark Rotharmel of Canada in his #15 Burgess / Nashua / Evinrude V8 3.5 liter, looper from 1985.
This is the later type of the OMC purpose built V8 two stroke racing engine.
6 inch mid section, fuel injection.

Thanks olboatman,
ABBA really put Sweden on the world map in the seventies. So lucky to got to work with them.
Not many people know how they came up with the name ABBA..its simple..just take the first letter in Agneta, Bjorn, Benny, Anni-frid and you have ABBA..
At 7:00 AM my property looked like the picture above..
11 hours later and here is the new look..
Trusses going up Monday morning.

looks like an RV park on the side. Hope you thought ahead and provided elec, water and sewer.
Yes Rotary John,
Half of the house is going to be a "carport" for our Prevost/Marathon motorcoach with all the hook ups. The other half a one bedroom with living room, kitchen, bathroom and a utility room.

A really cool picture of Cees Van Der Velden from 1975.
Not sure if this Marlboro boat is built by Cees or a repainted Molinari.
Its the Johnson V6 2 liter (I think cross-flow) probably with the older longer style mid section.

What a coincidence Lasse.... I stood in this exact spot 3 days ago in the sun..eating an ice-cream, remembering things.
Bristol pits..mud dock and the old crane in the background.
Our new Mayor has "vision" of bringing powerboat racing back to Bristol...
Mayors always have "visions" it must be included on the C.V. when they apply for the job..
Thanks ron54,
I have no problem if drivers like to race at Bristol again. Raced there three times but Bristol was not my favorite place. Fun to watch but not fun to race there.
I read somewhere that RYA was not in favor of racing in Bristol again so I don't think its going to happen.
One more picture of Cees in his Molinari/Marlboro/Johnson V6 racing in Bristol 1975.
