Yes..We lost Scotti in Paris 1974 but OMC did have a lot of Scotti-Craft boats available..but they where not up to date 1975.
My guess is OMC put Jimbo in the beautifully painted new #19 boat built by Carl Stippich instead.
Pretty sure when Cees Van Der Velden came onboard OMC racing early 1975 as a replacement for Scotti he had a plan to enter the tunnel boat building business.
His first Velden racing boat was ready to race in Cardiff September 1975..and winning the first race with his own new boat was pretty incredible..
Cees established himself very quickly as a winning boat builder.
This #12 UIM ON class boat is Cees new Velden in Paris 1975.
Barry Woods was his co-pilot..
